This stunning image shows dust blowing off of mainland China over the Sea of Japan, the islands of Japan itself, and on out into the Pacific Ocean. Many of Japan's mountains are still covered in snow, though spring has begun to show itself in the lower elevations. This true-color image was acquired April 2, 2002.
