(12/17/1999) --- STS-103 crew members head back to the Operations and Checkout Building after the launch of Space Shuttle Discovery was scrubbed due to unfavorable weather conditions. In the lead (right) is Mission Specialist C. Michael Foale (Ph.D.), followed by Mission Specialists Jean-Francois Clervoy of France, John M. Grunsfeld (Ph.D.), Claude Nicollier of Switzerland and Steven L. Smith. Other crew members are Commander Curtis L. Brown Jr. and Pilot Scott J. Kelly.
