Cosmonaut Yury V. Usachev, STS-101 mission specialist representing the Russian Aviation and Space Agency, prepares to leave Houston's Ellington Field aboard a T-38 jet trainer, headed for Florida. Usachev and the rest of the crew will arrive later in the day to take part in Terminal Countdown Demonstration Test (TCDT) activities that include emergency egress training and a dress rehearsal for launch. Usachev and six astronauts make up the crew for the third assembly flight for the International Space Station.
