(La description de cette image n'existe qu'en anglais) A glycol-based liquid, released through very small holes around the nose of an F/A-18 flown by NASA's Dryden Flight Research Center, Edwards, California, for its High Alpha Research Vehicle (HARV) program, aids researchers in flow visualization studies. This photograph, taken postflight, shows the airflow pattern at about 30 degrees angle of attack. The program was conducted jointly with NASA's Langley Research Center.
