Description
:
Astronaut Jeffrey N. Williams, mission specialist, peers into the cabin of the Space Shuttle Atlantis during part of the 6-hour, 44-minute space walk which he shared with astronaut James S. Voss. The extravehicular activity (EVA) began on May 21 and ended on May 22, 2000. Astronauts Voss and Williams worked with replacement parts on the Russian-built crane; secured a United States-built crane that was installed on the station last year, replaced a faulty antenna for one of the station's communications systems; and installed several handrails and a camera cable on the station's exterior.
